This
Elder truly loves being a missionary. His tireless missionary service is second to none
and it is such an amazing experience to watch all his service and missionary
work from our own home. We sure love Elder Bryson and are so proud of him. Enjoy!!
Hello everyone!
Everything is about the same. Save the
Family, taking Dayton, just living life as a service missionary. The Gilbert
temple was closed the last few weeks so Elder Haws and I took Elder Hayward to
the Mesa Temple for the last two weeks and it was still amazing. It's weird how
two amazing places have the same Spirit being able to be felt so
strongly.Taking Dayton has been such an amazing experience for me. Every time I
go, I can feel more and more love for him and I can listen closer to him and
communicate more effectively with him and feel his love for me so much stronger
every time I go. It truly is a wonderful experience to have. I am forever
grateful for Elder Haws and Elder Hayward and their examples to me as well as
their unconditional love and their ability to teach so magnificently.
Nothing new is happening at Save the
Family. Just moving client files around in their file room so boxes can be moved
offsite and they can have more storage space. When I started in there, they
couldn't even walk into the file room because there were so many boxes. Now,
not only can you walk in there, you have enough room to dance in there if you
wanted and there's even empty spaces that they can use!
Things have still been great. I feel like
every month, my testimony gets built up a little more. I started reading the
Book of Mormon again and so far I am halfway past 2 Nephi and every time I read
it, I catch on to something else that I never noticed that makes a ton of
sense. The Book of Mormon is like a patriarchal blessing for everyone. It's all
the same blessing but each piece is something new and inspiring to everyone
that it blesses everyone's lives. I feel like I have gotten better at making my
own decisions for me instead of always worrying about everyone else and what
they might think. Something I still need to work on is making my daily and
weekly schedule and keeping up with doing that as well as keeping up on my
journal. I absolutely love my service mission and I know that no matter if it's
proselyting or a service mission, it is all equally beneficial. Though this
wasn't the path I was expecting, it's all the same to The Lord and it all needs
to get done.
Love,
Elder May
